Externally Pressurized Expansion Joints

TCH externally pressurized expansion joints are the perfect solution to absorb thermal

expansion and contraction in smaller I.D. systems.

 

Constructed with multi-ply series 300 Stainless Steel bellows and carbon steel shroud, our expansion compensators come in a variety of end fittings. End Fittings include stainless or carbon steel NPT, flange, weld, and groove. Copper piping systems using multi-ply bronze bellows with carbon shroud and copper sweat end configurations are also available. These joints have a rating of 300 PSIG working pressure at 650°F and axial movements of 4” compression and ¾” extension. I.D.’s  are available from 2” – 12”. All expansion compensators include an internal anti-torque device.

 

Applications include, but are not limited to, vertical risers, return and supply lines, heating and cooling systems, steam and steam condensate, domestic hot water, chilled water, and heating water.
